BAG Staff
Give the right people the right access.
A cashier should be able to do their job and nothing else. Every control here exists because a till is where a business is most exposed.
What it does
Roles that mean something
Ten of them, from owner to read-only, each with a permission set you can see in full and change.
One person, not just one role
Give this supervisor a refund button without giving it to every supervisor. Each exception records why, and stays an exception.
PINs for a shared till
Staff switch in on approved tills with a PIN, with rotation and lockout you control.
An audit trail with names on it
Discounts, voids, stock adjustments and permission changes all leave a record. A comp nobody remembers authorising has a name against it.
Adding somebody
- Invite them by email. They accept with their own address and choose their own passphrase.
- Pick a role — you can only invite below your own level.
- Assign the locations they work at.
- Set a PIN if they use a shared till.
- Adjust individual permissions if this person is genuinely an exception.
How it works
- Authentication grants nothing
- Signing in gives no access to any business. Permissions come only from a membership.
- Owner-only stays owner-only
- Transferring ownership and closing the account cannot be granted to anyone else, whatever the overrides say.
- You cannot give what you do not have
- Nobody can grant a permission they do not hold themselves, on a role or on a person.
Who uses it
- Restaurants and bars
- Retail and convenience
- Salons and services
Questions
- Can I stop one cashier voiding sales?
- Yes, without changing what cashier means for everyone else. The exception is recorded with a reason and shows on their row.
